4 Loop FIBC - Ventilated Bag
Potato bags are produced out of ventilated polypropylene (PP) woven fabrics. These fabrics are specially designed to permit the required air flow through the fabric into the bag. A duffel or flap is often used as a top closure and a bottom spout is utilized as a discharge facility. For potato seeds, PP netting is used on two side panels to allow greater air permeability.
Potato suppliers have found great advantages using FIBCs for handling, storing and transporting their products as opposed to the antiquated 25/50kgs woven sacks or potato boxes. These variation of FIBCs is commonly used in Egypt, Israel and in many European and Scandinavian countries.
